Here I’ve compiled a list of useful resources on all things photography. The list includes news, reviews, previews, rumors, updates, trading zones and a whole lot more.

This is where I waste most of my online life on, and how I started to become a self-proclaimed photography mavern. I’ll keep this updated from time to time. Do note, that this list is by no means exhaustive, so feel free to leave a comment if you have a site you find really good that I’ve not included.

http://www.dpreview.com/ – Very updated and detailed review site. Good resource for latest photography news as well. Recently started doing lens reviews too.
http://www.imaging-resource.com/ – Very detailed camera review and news site. Has a lens review sub-site as well in slrgear.
http://www.popphoto.com/ – A more concise form of review for both cameras and lenses. Has a host of other photography related articles as well
http://www.cameralabs.com/ – Doesn’t get updated very frequently, but has very good comparison reviews when they do get round to doing it.

Sensor Specific:
http://www.dxomark.com/ – For the technically inclined. A very good resource on sensor comparisons

Lens Specific:
http://www.photozone.de/ – One of the most popular technical lens review sites
http://www.slrgear.com/ – Very detailed lens review site. Sub-site of Imaging-Resource
http://www.lenstip.com/ – Has new lens reviews every now and then. Pretty new lenses too. Polish based but decently translated.
http://www.slrlensreviews.com/ – Not very regularly updated unfortunately

Brand Specific:
http://www.bythom.com/ – Nikon specific camera and lens reviews. Highly recommended. Very insightful looks into the Nikon world as well.
http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/ – Canon specific camera and lens reviews. Highly recommended for those wanting Canon specific reviews.
http://www.kenrockwell.com/ – A real maverick. Major Nikon DSLR supporter and Canon Point & Shoot supporter. Take his reviews and views with a pinch of salt.
