About Me

Hi, my name’s Woody Ang (Woo Teck) and I am a serious photography enthusiast. I enjoy doing all kinds of photography, including portraits, weddings and events. Some of my friends say my forte is landscapes and I’ll leave that for you to decide. For me, I reckon I just love photography for what it is. And that’s how my tagline for my website came about as well.

I am a self-proclaimed photography mavern whom spends way too much time reading on the latest photography related news, and also unfortunately suffer from chronic gearhead tendencies. I also happen to have to dedicate a significant amount of my time towards my day job, and thus I only am able to satisfy my photographic passion during my free time. Having said that, I spend a bulk of that time photographing almost anything, and enjoy the challenge of capturing something completely new. My photography is very much driven by the circumstances around me, the location and also the mood of the moment, ie. a bulk of my landscape work was a result of being abroad for work alone in countries well known for their natural beauty. My photography is one of a journey, and one I still intend to keep going on.

This website has been something I’ve always envisioned and wanted to get off the ground for a while and I’m glad that it has finally achieved fruition. Do expect minor bits here and there to be altered and changed as I go along, as in the spirit of web-DIY, I do strongly believe that a website is a continuous work in progress. The challenge is always going to be content, and I’ll strive to keep this site updated from time to time.

Here’s just a list of my gear ‘coz I know some people do ask from time to time. I’ve since sold most, if not all my Canon gear and have now become a Nikon user. That story I’ll leave for another long blog post. =)
